技巧一：启动多个Gtalk
也许很多人和我一样有多个Gmail邮箱，因此Gtalk也就有了多个帐号，能否像QQ那样同时登录多个不同帐号呢？和MSN一样默认情况下Gtalk也只能开启一个程序。其实我们可以通过修改参数来突破这个限制。
在桌面gtalk图标上点鼠标右键选择属性，在快捷方式标签中的“目标”地址处添加参数/nomutex，确定后就可以启动多个gtalk了，每次我们运行下该快捷方式都会单独打开一个gtalk登录窗口，从而实现了同时开启多个Gtalk的功能。（如上图）
参数：
/autostart设置随Windows的启动而启动
/checkupdate检查是否有更新版本
/factoryreset还原回默认的设置
/gaiaserver从不同的服务器登陆Gtalk
/prefetch=1快速启动gtalk
/superprefetch更快速启动
提示：使用此法，可以用同一个帐户在一台机器上登录两个Gtalk。Gtalk也可以在两台机器上同时登陆同一帐号的。
技巧二：随意输入文字特效
使用Gtalk进行聊天也可以给文字加上显示效果的（如上图）。
如果想使用粗体字进行聊天那么可以在自己聊天内容文字前后各加上一个“*”号。
如果想使用斜体字进行聊天那么可以在自己聊天内容文字前后各加上一个“_”号。
技巧三：显示表情符号
在gtalk聊天过程中如果我们输入一些表情符号的话，例如

，:(，:P，:O ,:D ,:| ,:‘( ,:-) ,:-(
等，则会以蓝色粗体显示，这样使我们查看更便捷。
技巧四：一次输入多行文本
在Gtalk默认聊天过程中我们只能输入一行文本内容，要想输入多行文本可以使用组合键——按一次Shift和回车键即可增加一行文本。
提示：
QQ中： 回车键另起一行，而Ctrl+回车发送消息。
Gtalk中：回车键发送消息，而Shift+回车另起一行。
MSN中： 回车键发送消息，而Ctrl+回车另起一行。
技巧五：在线显示Gtalk状态
在你需要显示的地方添加如下代码：

Win+ESC:激活gtalk—输入要聊天人的名快速定位，或者用上下选择,按回车聊天 .
ESC或ALT+F4:关闭聊天.
ALT+F4:最小化gtalk .
