大学是人生发展中一段恐怖的时光。除了是“人生中最美好的年华”，大学生涯也是你严重超支甚至是透支的几年，你也会知道如何勒紧裤腰带，提防财政赤字。
假如我们还是窝在宿舍里的无名之辈，我们一定会用上下面这几个工具。把它们的链接转发给大学的校友，再存到收藏夹里。这样，我们就能远离翘课和吃拉面充饥的日子了。
在网店购买课本，轻而易举
BigWords网站及其iPhone应 用提供了一系列在线零售商的来源，使得学生能够买到最便宜的课本，免除了我们在各个网店上货比三家的时间。BigWords还声称能通过寻找特价、折扣、 赠券和其他优惠活动起到优化价格的效果。学生（或是为其购买的家长等监护人）还可以与他人分享自己的“书包”。网站称能为学生们平均省下225美元。
“社会化”学习
世界变化得真快，现在学生都能通过一款利用Facebook Connect登录的应用程序来优化学习时间了。StudyBlue利 用你的虚拟Rolodex通讯录来帮助你分享笔记、抽认卡和其他学习工具。用户可以通过文本或多媒体内容来记录笔记，这样，你就可以把上课的音频和视频分 享给翘课的狐朋狗友。喜上加喜的是，StudyBlue团队已经推出了应用于iPhone和iPod Touch的手机程序。在这个领域还有一款名叫Quizlet的应用，它同样使用Facebook Connect，为用户提供抽认卡和提问资源。
租借/归还课本
学生的一大烦恼是：为了够买一本只能用四个月的课本，你得花上三位数的价钱，然后再以十美元的天价卖回学校书店。BookRenter的出现缓解了这种烦恼。租书者注册过BookRenter后，便可以访问囊括了几百万本教材的书名目录。租书的价格十分合理，运书方式和租期也可以自由选择，而且，归还课本时寄送是免费的。
自己设计寝室
DesignYourDorm是一款今年新推出的应用，学生可以通过它来设计寝室室内3D布局，以及在网上购买装潢物品。学生能够从DesignYourDorm的数据库中选择房屋的大小和布局，并根据一份完整的清单来与室友合作布置寝室。
课本移动化
电子课本领域的领头羊Coursesmart最近推出了一款iPhone应用，我们曾对它作出过点评。迄今为止，Coursesmart的目录已经包含了7000本电子书，它的软件则能应用于苹果Mac机和PC机。桌面版应用允许学生在阅读时记录笔记，而桌面版和手机版应用都具有内置搜索功能。
